Soil   Medium, well-drained
Flower color   Raspberry Red
Bloom Time   June - July

General Culture:
Best grown in organically rich, humusy, medium wet, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. In cold winter climates, a winter mulch applied after the ground freezes will help prevent root heaving.

Noteworthy Characteristics:
'Raspberry Regal' is a clump-forming coral bells hybrid that features raspberry-red flowers atop stiff wiry stems 24-30" tall. Blooms late spring to early summer. Rounded dark-green leaves, lightly mottled with silver, form a foliage mound 8-12" tall. May spread to 16" wide. When massed, foliage forms an attractive ground cover.
Problems:
No serious insect or disease problems.
Uses:
Mass as a ground cover or group. Rock gardens, borders and open woodland gardens. Effective as an edger along paths or walkways.
