Hardiness Zone   4 to 8
Sun   Full sun to part shade
Soil   Moist, well-drained
Flower color   Deep pink
Bloom Time   May - June

General Culture:
Easily grown in average, medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant. Deadheading is tedious and probably unnecessary. Instead, cut plants back hard (remove about 4" of foliage) after flowering to both shape and encourage rebloom. Side stems may be removed at any time to control spread.
Noteworthy Characteristics:
This hardy geranium cultivar is a compact, clump-forming, perennial which forms a spreading mound of foliage that typically grows to 15" tall and to 24" wide. Features 1" diameter flowers in spring to early summer for a period of 6-7 weeks.Foliage turns a somewhat attractive red in autumn.
Problems:
No serious insect or disease problems. May spread somewhat vigorously in rich soils.
Uses:
Rock gardens and border fronts. Also may be useful as an edging plant or ground cover.
