Prefers heavy soil and is tolerant of water extremes. It is also tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Plant in full sun to light shade.
Noteworthy Characteristics:
The coarse textured, metallic, blue-gray foliage creates an arching clump with an underground, running growth habit (rhizomes). Considered deer resistant when mature.

No serious insect or disease problems.
Uses:
Best used in open areas, but can be contained with minimum effort. Perfect for controlling soil erosion problems and for covering hillsides. Try planting in copper containers for a stunning effect! Blue Lyme Grass is particularly useful in coastal area because of its tolerance to sand, sun, and drought.
